We cordially invite you to attend the International Advanced Manufacturing Conference (NAMRC-MSECLEM&P). The joint conference of the 51st Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)’s North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC51), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)’s International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC 2023), and the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME)’s International Conference on Leading Edge Manufacturing/Materials & Processing (LEM&P 2023) will be held at Rutgers–New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA from June 12-16, 2023.

In order to visit the United States of America, you may need to obtain a visa. We encourage you to contact your local Consulate or the Consular Section of your local US Embassy if you need a visa and to determine the approximate time for the visa application process to be completed. The Organizing Committee has no influence or control over the issuance of a visa.

This Letter of Invitation is to be used for the purpose of securing a visa to attend the conference.

How to Arrive

Newark Airport to New Brunswick By Public Transportation

Take the "Airtrain" directly from your arrival terminal to the Airport Train Station, where you can connect with a New Jersey Transit train to New Brunswick (cost is about $18). The train to New Brunswick leaves regularly.

Parking Information

Event Parking

Special Event parking is provided to all conference attendees free of charge. Attendees are allowed to park in Lots 26, 30 & College Avenue Parking Deck after registering their vehicles online. These lots are a short walk from the conference venue. Guests must use the below link to register for the event. Until this process is completed their vehicles are not registered and guests may receive a citation. Special event parking registration are only for visitors to the University which does not include free metered parking. Faculty, Staff, and Students must park in authorized parking locations according to their parking permit and should not register under the special event parking link.

Parking Lots Map: Lot 26; Lot 30; College Avenue Parking Deck

The College Avenue Parking Deck is strongly recommended. It is accessible from George Street. Lots 26 and 30 are currently affected by the Solar Panel Construction Project, leaving only a small number of spots available.

Metered Parking

A limited number of on-street metered spaces can be found on Rutgers campus.

Hotel Accommodation

We are looking forward to welcoming you to New Brunswick in June 2023. Due to the high demand for hotels in June 2023, special rates are not available for the hotels. We are strongly recommending that those travelling book their accommodation now. There are several large events taking place in New Brunswick in June 2023 making accommodation availability a challenge. Please consider booking your accommodation well in advance to avoid disappointment and potential rate increases.
